By accessing or using India School Quiz at schoolquiz.in ("the Service", "Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Student", "you") and India School Quiz.

If you are a minor (under 18 years of age), you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2 · Description of Service

India School Quiz is a free online educational quiz platform designed for Indian school students. We provide:

• AI-generated MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) quizzes aligned with CBSE, ICSE, and all major Indian state board syllabuses
• Subject-wise and chapter-wise practice for Classes 1 through 12
• Support for regional language question papers including Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Hindi, and more
• Progress tracking, XP points, streaks, and achievement certificates
• A completely free service with no advertisements

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice, though we will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes.

3 · Eligibility & Age

India School Quiz is designed for students of all ages in Indian schools. However:

• Children under 13 years of age must have explicit parental consent before creating an account
• We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent
• Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise their children's use of this platform
• Teachers and educational institutions may use this platform to assign practice to students

Our platform complies with India's Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 ("IT Rules") and the applicable provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

4 · User Accounts

Registration

You may create an account using a username and PIN, or sign in with your Google account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your PIN and login credentials
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your account
• We are not liable for any loss resulting from your failure to keep credentials secure

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5 · Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any Indian or international law
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, scrape, or compromise the platform's security
• Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to access or collect data from the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Attempt to access quiz questions, answers, or backend systems through unauthorised means
• Share your account credentials with others for commercial gain
• Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content

6 · Educational Content

All quiz questions are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended to supplement, not replace, formal education. Please note:

• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
• Questions are aligned with CBSE, ICSE, Kerala SCERT, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and other state board syllabuses to the best of our ability
• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of any question, answer, or explanation
• Students should cross-verify important concepts with official NCERT/SCERT textbooks
• This platform is a supplementary practice tool, not an official examination resource

7 · Intellectual Property

The India School Quiz platform, including its design, code, branding, logo, and interface, is the intellectual property of India School Quiz. All rights are reserved.

Curriculum and syllabus frameworks referenced on this platform (CBSE, ICSE, NCERT, various State Boards) are owned by their respective government bodies. India School Quiz does not claim ownership of any government syllabus or curriculum.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from this platform without explicit written permission.

8 · Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. How we collect, use, and protect your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9 · Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10 · Limitation of Liability

• Reliance on AI-generated educational content for examination preparation
• Unauthorised access to your data due to factors beyond our reasonable control

Since our Service is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability to any user shall not exceed INR 0 (zero rupees).

11 · Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

12 · Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kerala, India.

We encourage resolution of disputes through good-faith communication before legal action.

13 · Changes to Terms
